OUR HISTORY
Serving the Scottsdale community since 2016, Collab MedSpa Scottsdale has been making a difference for thousands of grateful clients in their very comfortable and relaxing environment. The owners, Andrea Jefferson and Shani McKee, both midwest natives, state that their decision to own and operate a medspa business in the Scottsdale area was an easy one, “It’s where we choose to live and work. The sun, the beauty, the weather, what’s not to love?”

Collab, the shortened form of “collaboration,” reiterates the owner’s intentions for their business:

Collab MedSpa offers their clients a wide variety of medspa services and skin care products in a very convenient and central Scottsdale location at the corner of Scottsdale Road and Shea Boulevard. Andrea Jefferson
Andrea was born and raised in the midwest and attended the University of Nebraska. She is an outdoor-loving, cat and dog mom, who enjoys trips to the mountains, skiing and reading. Andrea always had beautiful skin until she developed hormonal acne in her mid-twenties. Her career in the medical spa industry has not only allowed her to cure her own skin condition, but empowers her to educate and advocate for other men and women who struggle with similar skin disorders.

Shani McKee
Shani was born and raised in the midwest and attended the University of Central Oklahoma. She has 26 years of retail management under her belt. Shani stays active, whether she’s at the gym, hiking or golfing. She’s has 2 dogs and loves being a dog mam to her sweet pups, Kayden Noel and Kamryn. She has a passion for the service industry and loves that her career allows her to help her clients build confidence and feel their best. Favorite Treatment: Hydrafacials, Microneedling, Lip Filler, Botox, IPL for Dark Spots- How do you choose just one?

Dr. Vincent Marino
Medical Director
With over three decades of medical experience, including 18 years specializing in Aesthetics and Medical Direction for aesthetic practices, Dr. Vincent Marino is a highly esteemed physician renowned for his expertise. Recognized as a top-rated physician on Realself.com, Dr. Marino’s impressive career includes serving as the Chief of Emergency Medicine at Honor Health Hospital and presiding over Scottsdale Emergency Associates for six years. Graduating with distinction from the University of Arizona in 1987, he pursued residency training at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix and Denver Health Hospital in Colorado. Dr. Marino is driven by a philosophy centered around patient safety, satisfaction, and the provision of exceptional medical care, consistently upholding the highest standards of excellence.
ALLISON
Nurse Injector, RN, BSN
Allison was born and raised in Colorado. She moved to Wyoming to attend the University of Wyoming where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in the Science of Nursing. After several years of nursing in Wyoming, Allison decided to start travel nursing and eventually found herself in Arizona with her husband and her two dogs, Beau and Roxy. She has always had a passion for aesthetics and is excited to share that with all of her clients.

Hi my name is Amy, I’m very passionate about the artistry of Aesthetics, helping people feel better about themselves and lead happier lives is one of my goals. I love going to work every day, knowing I will be making a positive difference for you. Each person is a unique canvas and I want to thank you for trusting me with your precious face. AZ Native born and raised, I have pursued my career in nursing for over eighteen years in AZ. Working as an ICU and SWAT nurse and recently for the last 6 years as an Aesthetic Nurse Injector and trainer. You can view and follow my work on Instagram @injector_amylee
I enjoy educating others on aesthetic medicine and explaining what each product can do to help enhance and maintain natural beauty. Aesthetics is an ever-changing field, I take ongoing education very seriously and make it a point to invest in my skill set regularly. I am consistently keeping up with the newest products, latest techniques, trends and technology to always provide my patients with the best and safest outcome. Botox and similar products are my go-to treatment. It is amazing what they can do, so much more than just softening wrinkles. These products can provide a lift, accentuate a feature, provide relief from pain, address hyperhidrosis, even relax a gummy smile. It can be a total game changer, and in some cases life changing.
In my downtime I enjoy time with my friends and family, traveling and spending time with my four fur babies.

Lead Esthetician
Alexis received her Esthetician License from the Aveda Institute and Laser Certification from The National Laser Institute in 2016 and has been practicing both Medical Aesthetics and Medical Laser Aesthetics for 7 years. Alexis has been working for Collab MedSpa since June 2017 and she loves her job because she loves making people feel beautiful and confident. When she isn’t at the spa, Alexis is probably traveling to a music festival or shopping. Alexis has two dogs named Phoenix and Champ, and she loves them with every bone in her body.
Favorite Treatment: Microneedling because it not only targets collagen, but it targets pigment, large pores and dull skin. “I just love that post microneedle glow!”
NELLIE
Aesthetician and Laser Technician
Nellie is a Licensed Esthetician and Certified Laser Technician with a deep passion for skincare, specializing in acne treatments and anti-aging solutions. After personally battling cystic acne, she understands the physical and emotional toll skin concerns can take. This experience fuels her dedication to helping clients achieve clear, healthy, and radiant skin through advanced treatments, customized skincare plans, and cutting-edge laser technology. At Collab MedSpa, Nellie offers a results-driven approach to skincare, combining her expertise in lasers, chemical peels, microneedling, and customized facials to address concerns like acne, hyperpigmentation, and skin rejuvenation. Her goal is to not only transform your skin but also boost your confidence by providing effective, science backed treatments tailored to your unique needs. Whether you’re looking to clear breakouts, prevent premature aging, or enhance your glow, Nellie is here to guide you on your skincare journey with knowledge, care, and a touch of fun!
Sydni
Aesthetician and Laser Technician
Born and raised in Arizona, Sydni is a Licensed Esthetician and Certified Laser Technician with a passion for skincare and aesthetics. She is experienced in microneedling, acne and anti-aging facials, HydraFacials, and laser treatments—using these services to help clients feel confident in their skin and achieve their personal skincare goals. Sydni is currently in nursing school at Arizona College of Nursing, working toward her dream of becoming a nurse injector specializing in Botox and dermal fillers. When she’s not in the spa, she enjoys reading, staying active in the gym, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
Katelyn
Aesthetician and Laser Technician
Katelyn is a Licensed Aesthetician, Laser Technician, and Laser Safety Officer with passion for skincare. Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Katelyn brings a personal & compassionate approach to her work, from her own journey with acne as a teen.
Katelyn graduated from Penrose Academy in 2023 and further advanced her training in Laser Aesthetics in 2024. Favorite treatment is Microneedling, to focus on acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, pores, & anti-aging. Clients appreciate Katelyn’s knowledgeable, empathetic approach and her dedication to creating personalized treatment plans.

Massage Therapist
Anna was born in LaCrosse, WI and attended the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts. Anna is married to her husband Devin and is a mom of two. Some of Anna’s hobbies include hiking, gardening, biking, reading and yoga. She has been working at Collab MedSpa for 8 months and believes it is very rewarding to be a part of her clients self-care/wellness journey.
Favorite Treatment: 1.) Reflexology. “Foot massage aids in relaxation, improved wellness and pain relief.” 2.) Trigger Point Therapy. “It’s great for reducing headaches and muscle tension in the neck and back.”
DONALD
Medical Massage Therapist
Donald was born in raised in the Valley of the Sun, Phoenix, AZ, and is a husband, father to four daughters, and proud owner of lots of fish, Budi the dog and Milo the cat. Donald studied at the Phoenix Therapeutic Massage College as well as the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, and has been working at Collab MedSpa for 7 years. “The greatest feeling is to be honored with time and trust to assist in this life. There’s nothing I want more than to make a positive impact through talk and touch.”
