CHEMICAL PEELS Scottsdale
If you are looking for a chemical peel Scottsdale treatment that actually delivers real results, you are in the right place. At Collab MedSpa, we focus on helping you achieve clear, healthy skin in a way that feels simple, supportive, and personalized to you.
What Does a Chemical Peel Do?
Chemical peels are one of the best treatments for acne and hyperpigmentation. Whether you are dealing with active breakouts, acne scars, sun spots, or uneven skin tone, a chemical peel can help reset your skin. In addition, chemical peels are safe for all skin types, which is especially important for clients with darker skin tones who may not be ideal candidates for certain laser treatments. Because of this, peels are one of our go-to treatments for correcting both acne and pigmentation safely and effectively.
Our Chemical Peel Options
VI Peel
+ Precision Plus Booster
At Collab MedSpa, we offer advanced options so we can meet you where you are in your skin journey. The VI Peel Precision Plus is ideal for pigmentation concerns like melasma, sun damage, and acne scarring. It works to brighten and even out your skin tone while also improving texture.
VI Peel Purify
+ Precision Plus Booster
On the other hand, the VI Peel Purify with Precision Plus booster is designed for acne-prone skin. It targets breakouts while also helping fade the marks they leave behind.
iS Clinical Prodigy Peel
We also offer the iS Clinical Prodigy Peel, which is a great option if you want the benefits of a chemical peel without committing to a stronger treatment. This peel is often seen as a more entry-level option. It helps improve your skin while still being gentle, making it perfect for someone who is just getting started or is not ready for a deeper peel.
VI Peel vs Prodigy Peel:
Which Is Right for You?
Downtime can look different depending on the peel you choose, which is why we offer both options. With a VI Peel, you can expect about a week of downtime. During the first 72 hours, we recommend no working out or sweating. Then, your skin may peel anywhere from day three to day seven. However, as long as you are wearing sunscreen, you can still go about your normal routine. It really comes down to your comfort level while your skin is shedding.
With the Prodigy Peel, there is little to no downtime. You may need to avoid working out for 24 to 48 hours, but you will not experience visible peeling. Because of this, it is a great option if you want results without interrupting your daily routine.
How Many Chemical Peels Do You Need?
Like any skin treatment, chemical peels work best when done in a series. Typically, we recommend a series of three treatments spaced about four to six weeks apart. However, if your skin condition is more advanced, we may suggest a longer plan.
To get the best results, we also recommend regular facials in between your peels. This helps clean, exfoliate, and reset your skin so each treatment works even better. In addition, using professional skincare at home plays a big role in maintaining and improving your results.

Real Results: My Skin Transformation
One thing we always tell our clients is this—results come from having a plan and sticking to it. I experienced this firsthand.
From our owner, Andrea:
After clearing my acne with AviClear, I was still dealing with acne scarring and sun damage. One of our estheticians told me I needed to commit to a real plan, not just random treatments here and there. So, I did exactly that.
I completed a series of four VI Peel Purify Peels and two SkinPen microneedling treatments, all spaced four weeks apart. Within a year, my skin was completely transformed. I also stayed consistent with wearing SPF every single day. That combination made all the difference.
